Fresh Peach Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 peaches, sliced
    1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 tsp. butter
    almond flavoring (if desired)
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    salt
Preparation
    Put sugar and lemon juice on peaches.
    Let set for 1 hour. Drain, saving juice to make 1 cup (add a little water if necessary).
    Add cornstarch and cook until thick.
    Add butter and salt; cool.
    Mix in peaches.
    Put in baked pie shell and chill.
