Mel Plymale'S Toffee Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
    saltine crackers
Preparation
    Line cookie sheet with crackers.
    Boil sugar and butter for 3 minutes and pour over crackers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Melt chocolate chips and spread over baked crackers; sprinkle with nuts.
    Let cool, then break apart.
