Tomato Sauce For Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    3 (15 oz.) cans whole or diced tomatoes (Pastene)
    1/2 c. water
    bay leaf
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. oregano
    freshly ground pepper
Preparation
    Saute garlic and then onion.
    Add tomatoes.
    Add water and spices.
    Bring to boil and reduce heat.
    Simmer for 1 hour.
