Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. plain meal
1 c. plain flour
1 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. melted oleo
1 egg, beaten
1 minced onion
1 c. sweet milk

Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients well.
Add remaining ingredients in order listed.
Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot oil.
