Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
3 1/2 c. pumpkin (30 oz.)
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ginger
4 Tbsp. melted butter
1 2/3 c. hot milk
Preparation

Beat eggs slightly and add pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices, mix well.
Add melted butter and milk stirring thoroughly.
Pour into uncooked pastry shells.
Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0 to 425\u00b0) for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to moderate oven (350\u00b0) and continue to bake for 35 minutes or until the filling is \"set\" and crust is nicely browned.
Makes two 9-inch pies.
