Amy'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans with liquid
    1 small can tomato sauce
    1 lb. ground turkey or beef
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    chili powder
    ground cumin
Preparation
    First, brown the meat in a saucepan and drain off the fat. Put the rest of the ingredients except chili powder and cumin into a pot with a lid and set it on medium-low to simmer for about 10 minutes.
    Then, add 3 to 4 teaspoons of chili powder and ground cumin, more or less, if desired.
    Cook this down for about 10 more minutes on low with the lid on.
    (It's usually better on the second day.)
    Serve it alone or with Cheddar cheese or sour cream on top.
