Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. cream-style corn
    1 c. whole milk
    1/4 c. oil
    1 c. sharp cheese, grated
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/4 c. jalapeno peppers, chopped
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except 1/2 of the cheese.
    Sprinkle this 1/2 on top of the batter.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until done (about 20 to 25 minutes) in a well-greased 8-inch pan or a 12 large muffin pan.
