Seven Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce (iceberg)
    chopped onion
    chopped celery
    1 pkg. frozen, small, select peas, defrosted
    mayonnaise
    2 tsp. sugar
    chopped pepper
    1 to 3 c. pkg. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 lb. cooked bacon, cut in small pieces
Preparation
    Using a 9 x 12-inch pan, tear lettuce in little pieces and fill pan almost 1/2 full.
    Add onions and celery.
    Add defrosted peas; cover lettuce fully.
    Spread mayonnaise (about 1 cup) to cover peas.
    Sprinkle sugar on top of mayonnaise.
    Cover with shredded cheese; cover completely.
    Garnish with bacon on top.
