Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. oatmeal
1 c. chocolate chips

Preparation

Cream white sugar, brown sugar and shortening in a large mixing bowl. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir until creamy. Add flour, salt and soda. Stir until mixed. Stir in oatmeal. After oatmeal is mixed in, add chocolate chips.
