Dried Beef Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. hot milk
    1/2 lb. dried, chipped beef
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a heavy saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the flour to make a roux.
    Whisk in the hot milk, stirring all the time until the mixture thickens.
    When the mixture is thick, add the remaining ingredients and heat for a moment.
    Yields 4 servings.
