Double Chocolate Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Sift flour, baking soda and salt together in bowl.
    Add sugar, brown sugar, egg, butter and vanilla; blend well.
    Melt 1/3 cup chocolate chips in top of double boiler over hot water.
    Remove from heat; let cool.
    Add melted chocolate to flour mixture.
    Stir in nuts and remaining chocolate chips.
    Drop by teaspoon about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
