Greek Ground Beef With Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
8 oz. tomato sauce
1/4 c. red wine or sherry
2 tsp. wine vinegar
2 tsp. brown sugar
pinch of garlic powder
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground clove
1 lb. ground beef
rice (cook as you prepare beef)
Preparation

Brown meat in skillet.
When some grease accumulates, add onion and cook until soft.
Drain off grease.
Add rest of ingredients (except rice) and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Serve over cooked rice.
