Blueberry Or Cherry Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
11 saltine crackers, crushed fine
dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can blueberry or cherry pie filling
1 tsp. baking powder
Cool Whip
Preparation

Beat egg whites until foamy.
Gradually add sugar, beating whites until stiff peaks form.
Combine nuts, crackers, baking powder and salt. Add dry ingredients to egg
white mixture. Add vanilla.
Pour into greased pie plate. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until crust is very dry.
Cool and add pie filling. Top with Cool Whip.
