Fudge Nut Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. quick oatmeal
    3/4 c. nuts
Preparation
    Melt chips, butter and milk; add nuts and vanilla. Cream together sugar, eggs, vanilla and shortening. Add sifted dry ingredients and oatmeal. Press 2/3 cookie mixture in pan (greased 10 x 16-inch). Spread on fudge mixture, then dab and spread rest of cookie mix on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Don't overbake.
