Chicken Soup With Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    several pieces chicken
    2 1/2 qt. cold water
    1 carrot
    1 stalk celery
    1 small onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. peas
    2 medium sliced zucchini
    1 sliced carrot
    1 small diced onion
    1 stalk diced celery
    1/2 c. green beans
    1/2 c. corn
    1/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 bay leaf
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
Preparation
    Cover several pieces of chicken with cold water.
    Add 1 carrot, 1 stalk celery, 1 small onion and salt and pepper to taste.
    Cover and simmer for 2 hours.
    Remove chicken and strain broth.
