Baked Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. oil
6 pork chops (1-inch thick)
1 1/2 c. rice
1 onion, chopped
1 yellow bell pepper
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Heat oil
in ovenproof dish or skillet.
Saute chops quickly. Remove to a plate as they brown.
If necessary, add more oil and saute rice, onion and pepper until rice is golden brown.
Place chops on top of rice mixture.
Pour the tomatoes over everything and sprinkle with the oregano and vinegar.
Cover tightly and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
Check occasionally to be sure there is plenty of liquid.
Add water, if necessary, to keep the rice from sticking.
Yields 6 servings.
