Eggplant Parmigiana - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. very lean ground beef
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1/4 c. grated cheese
    1/2 tsp. onion powder
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    1 tsp. dried basil
    1 large, firm eggplant
Preparation
    Using nonstick skillet, cook ground beef while breaking with a fork.
    Sprinkle beef with onion and garlic powder.
    Add tomatoes, paste, oregano and basil.
    Cook, covered, for 15 minutes.
