Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. self-rising cornmeal
    5 c. self-rising flour
    10 eggs
    2 cans whole kernel corn
    2 cans Ro-Tel tomatoes
    8 jalapeno peppers
    2 bell peppers
    10 onions
    2 c. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Put corn, tomatoes, peppers and onions in blender; blend until soupy.
    Add eggs and sugar and put in large pan.
    Add cornmeal and flour slowly.
    Mix by hand until right consistency.
    Best if left in refrigerator overnight.
    Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls in deep fat and fry until golden brown.
    Serves 75 to 100 people.
