Aunt Rose'S Hickory Nut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    1/3 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. hickory nuts
    1 (9-inch) pie crust
    3 whole eggs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix corn syrup, brown sugar, salt, melted butter and vanilla.
    Beat eggs slightly and mix in.
    Pour into pie shell and sprinkle nuts on top.
    Bake about 45 minutes until knife inserted about halfway to middle of pie comes out clean.
    Serves 6 to 8.
