Gumdrop Coconut Cookies(Another Christmas Favorite Of The Seiter Children) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter, margarine or shortening
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. water
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. coconut
1 pkg. assorted gumdrop candies, diced

Preparation

Cream sugar and butter or shortening.
Add eggs, water and vanilla.
Continue beating.
Add remaining ingredients.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned.
