Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. walnuts or pecans
3 well ripe bananas, mashed
2 c. flour (self-rising)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add beaten eggs.
Add nuts. Alternately add bananas and flour.
Blend.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour in a loaf pan or for 30 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch pan or until turns loose from edge of pan.
