Portuguese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. chicken stock or canned broth
    1 lb. smoked Kielbasa sausage, diced
    1 lb. potatoes, peeled and diced
    1 can kidney beans, drained
    1 (14 oz.) can diced tomatoes
    1/2 medium head green cabbage, coarsely chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 large carrot, diced
    1/2 green bell pepper, diced
    3 garlic cloves, minced
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in large pot.
    Bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
    Reduce heat.
    Simmer until thick, stirring occasionally, about 2 hours.
    Season with pepper.
