Mother'S Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 3/4 c. flour, sifted
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. raisins
    1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    1 small can applesauce
Preparation
    Using mixer, cream together butter, sugar and egg.
    On wax paper, sift together flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon.
    In a bowl, put raisins and nuts.
    Sprinkle with a small amount of flour. Heat applesauce to lukewarm in microwave.
    Combine creamed butter mixture, flour mixture and applesauce.
    Mix well. Stir in nuts and raisins.
    Bake in tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
