Basic Taco Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) Ro-Tel chilies and tomatoes
    2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    1 Tbsp. dry onion, minced (optional)
    pinch of oregano
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Finely chop chile and tomatoes in food processor for 4 to 6 seconds.
    Add garlic, onion (if using), salt, pepper and oregano. Mix well.
    Allow to stand for 2 hours before using. Serve with either beef, chicken or cheese tacos.
    Sauce will keep in refrigerator for about a week if sealed and if onion is not used. If onion is added, it is much more perishable.
