Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    6 eggs
    1/2 pt. (8 oz.) sour cream
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar well.
    Add eggs, one at a time; beat after each egg.
    Add sour cream and flour alternately.
    Beat well; add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, if desired, or lemon.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours in well-greased and floured tube pan.
