Butterscotch Sauce(Ice Cream Topping) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 well-beaten egg yolk
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 c. water
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. light corn syrup
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in double boiler; mix well.
    Cook until thick.
    Stir frequently.
    Stir before serving.
