Ida Craver'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine or 1 c. butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. white sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Cream the margarine or butter and Crisco together.
    Add the sugar gradually, beating after each addition.
    Beat the eggs until light and fluffy and add to the butter-sugar mixture, blending thoroughly.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add the flavorings to the milk.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour.
    When well blended, pour into a well-greased and lightly floured tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about an hour.
