Amaretto - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. sugar
    1 gal. water
    1 c. dark Karo syrup
    1 fifth vodka
    3 oz. almond extract
    1 oz. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water for 50 minutes with lid on pot.
    Add Karo and stir; let cool.
    Add vodka and extracts.
    Stir.
    Store for at least 2 weeks or more.
