Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. green peas, or cooked carrots, or corn, or combination of these
    potatoes
    sharp cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion; salt and pepper to taste.
    Drain well.
    Place in bottom of square casserole dish.
    Place vegetables on top.
    Cream potatoes and spread on top of vegetables.
    Top this with shredded sharp cheese.
    Bake, uncovered, approximately 30 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
