Date And Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. boiling water poured over 1 c. dates, cut not too fine
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix all.
    Pour into loaf pan and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
