Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. granulated sugar
    1/3 c. water
    3 tsp. butter
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    3 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Boil sugar, Karo syrup and water until small drop from spoon spins thread.
    Add peanuts and stir continuously, cooking until mixture turns a brownish gold.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter, salt and baking soda.
    Mix. Pour onto buttered large cookie sheet.
