Marinated Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans white wax beans
    1 can French-cut green beans
    1 can kidney beans
    1 large onion, sliced in rings
    1 small jar pimento
    chopped or sliced bell pepper, mushrooms (optional)
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. salad oil
    black pepper to taste
Preparation
    Drain beans.
    Place in bowl.
    Next in small saucepan, heat together sugar, vinegar, oil and black pepper.
    Pour over beans. Cover; refrigerate overnight.
    Stir once or twice before serving.
