Corny Clam Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 pieces bacon, fried
2 medium onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. butter
1 (13 3/4 oz.) chicken broth
1/2 pt. light cream
pepper to taste
1 bay leaf
2 stalks celery
1 (16 oz.) can creamed corn
1 can regular corn
12 oz. minced clams
4 to 5 medium potatoes
Preparation

Fry bacon.
Leave drippings in pan and saute onions.
Add bay leaf, broth, celery, potatoes, juice of clams and pepper.
Cook, covered, 15 to 20 minutes, until potatoes are done.
Add corn and clams.
Cook, covered, 5 minutes.
Add cream and heat.
Add bacon last.
