Carrot Raisin Muffins - cooking recipe

1 c. shredded fresh carrots
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. melted butter or margarine
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

A yeasted Cheddar cheese bread can be toasted for breakfast, sliced and filled with turkey or ham for lunch, and heated and served with pea soup for dinner.
It makes a great loaf to take to a hostess or to give as a holiday gift.
