Sausage Rice Stuffing Casserole - cooking recipe

1 lb. pork sausage
2 c. chopped celery
2 c. chopped onion
2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms or 1 (16 oz.) can, drained
1 c. chicken broth
4 c. cooked browned rice
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 tsp. crushed dried sage
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 c. slivered almonds
Preparation

Cook sausage, celery, onion and mushrooms in large skillet until meat is browned; drain.
Combine with remaining ingredients and place in a greased 3-quart casserole.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
(May be used to stuff a large turkey.)
Yields 8 to 10 servings.
