Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. apples, chopped
2 c. walnuts
1 c. raisins
2 eggs
1/2 c. melted shortening
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation

Using food processor, chop apples; put in large bowl. Chop nuts in same way and combine with apples. Add raisins to the apples and nuts. Set aside. Place eggs, shortening, sugar and vanilla in mixer and mix until ingredients are well blended. Add cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Add flour slowly until ingredients are barely mixed. Pour batter into apples, raisins and nuts. Stir well. Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
