Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 1/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. day old 1-inch bread cubes
    1/2 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Combine eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Stir in bread cubes.
    Stir in sugar and raisins.
    Pour mixture into an 8-inch round glass ovenware dish.
    Place dish in a large shallow pan on oven rack.
    Pour hot water into pan 1-inch deep.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
    Can be served with the following Vanilla Sauce.
