Carrots In Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 c. shredded raw carrots
    1 Tbsp. grated onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    chopped parsley (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter in a saucepan.
    Add raw carrots and grated onion. Salt and pepper to taste.
    Add dry white wine.
    Cover and cook over low heat, about 15 minutes until carrots are tender.
    Add parsley, optional.
