Merry'S Canapes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

Pepperidge Farm rye bread rounds
1/2 c. mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
2 Tbsp. snipped parsley
8 slices Swiss cheese
Preparation

Toast bread on both sides lightly.
Combine mayonnaise, onions and parsley.
Spread on toast.
Cut out round of Swiss cheese to fit on toast.
Broil until cheese melts.
You can add a slice of a ripe black olive on top for decoration after broiling.
Makes about 12 to 15 canapes.
