Black Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. black beans (dried)
1 onion, cut in half
1 bell pepper, cut in half
8 c. water
1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 large bell pepper, chopped
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 bay leaf
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. cumin
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. sherry
Preparation

Cook until tender.
Add additional water if necessary.
Add 4 teaspoons of salt or less, according to taste.
