Bernadine'S Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. Wesson oil
1 egg
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Mix the flour, sugars, salt, nutmeg and oil well and take out 3/4 cup of the mixture and reserve for the topping.
To remaining mixture add egg, sour milk or buttermilk, soda and baking powder. Mix well until all lumps are dissolved.
Spread in a fairly shallow pan, greased and floured.
Sprinkle with topping, then with cinnamon and chopped nuts.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
