Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
2 c. margarine (soft)
1 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
4 1/4 to 4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream sugar, powdered sugar and margarine.
Add oil, vanilla and eggs; mix well.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
Stir dry ingredients into sugar mixture; chill overnight. Shape dough into 1 inch balls.
Flatten with glass dipped in water and then in sugar.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 until light brown, 6 to 8 minutes.
May be decorated with colored sugar.
