Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
    2 carrots, diced
    6 celery stalks, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    1 qt. boiling water
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook all vegetables in large pot of water about 20 minutes or until tender.
    In same pot, add water and milk, salt and pepper; thicken with flour mixed with water to form paste.
    Stir in soup mixture.
    Cook until thickened.
    Stir often and watch so won't boil over.
    A dash of hot sauce is good also.
