Daphne'S Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1/3 c. cocoa
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. flour
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Mix together the sugar and flour.
    Add the milk and cook in double boiler until thick, about 15 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add beaten egg yolks.
    Mix cocoa with enough boiling water to make a paste.
    Add paste to mixture in double boiler.
    Return to heat and cook until thick.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter and vanilla. Cool and pour in baked pie shell.
    Top with meringue.
    Brown in 325\u00b0 oven.
