Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 marshmallows
    1 family size strawberry jello
    1 large can drained crushed pineapple
    1 pt. small curd cottage cheese
    1/2 c. drained pineapple juice
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
    1 pkg. whipped topping mix
Preparation
    Mix marshmallows on low heat along with 1/2 cup of the drained pineapple juice.
    Add jello and stir well, let cook, whip the topping mix as directed on package, add cottage cheese, whipped topping and nuts, if desired.
    Leave in refrigerator until ready to serve.
