Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 tall can Carnation (12 oz.)
    1/4 lb. or 1 stick oleo or butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. peanut butter
Preparation
    Mix and cook sugar, Carnation and butter to soft ball stage. Be sure it's at that stage.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla and peanut butter.
    Beat together thoroughly and pour onto greased cookie sheet.
