Milky Way Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 small Milky Ways
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
1 c. pecans

Preparation

Melt Milky Ways and 1 stick of butter; set aside and let cool.
Cream together sugar and 1 stick butter.
Add eggs.
Mix soda with buttermilk and add alternately with cake flour.
Add Milky Way mixture until creamy, then vanilla and nuts.
Pour into greased tube pan and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Let cool in pan 30 minutes, then cover with icing.
