Holiday Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 slices Italian bread
    1/2 lb. grated Monterey Jack/Colby cheese
    1/2 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 large jar mushrooms, drained
    6 eggs
    3 c. milk
    1/4-1/2 tsp. ground mustard
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    salt & pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute green pepper and onion.
    Remove crusts from bread; butter both sides.
    Line 9X13 pan with 8 slices of bread.
    Mix cheese, pepper, onion and mushrooms and spread HALF of that mixture over bread.
    Layer with remaining 8 slices of bread and cover with remaining cheese mixture.
    Mix together eggs, milk, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper; pour over bread and cheese layers.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
