Apple-Raisin Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. packed dark brown sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. applesauce (unsweetened)
    2 egg whites
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. apples, chopped and peeled
    1/3 c. raisins
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl.
    Make well in center.
    Stir together buttermilk, applesauce, egg whites and oil in a small bowl.
    Pour mixture into well of dry mixture.
    Stir just until moistened.
    Gently fold in apples and raisins. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
