Easy Cobbler - Peach, Cherry, Apple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    2 cans fruit or 2 qt. fruit
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter and pour in the bottom of a 9 x 11-inch baking pan.
    Make batter of 1 cup sugar, flour, powder powder, salt and milk.
    Mix and pour batter over melted butter.
    Spoon in fruit with juice.
    Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over the batter.
    Do not stir. Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
